Inside our classroom...
...We work hard every day to create an enjoyable learning environment where we are encouraged to achieve our best and work together for a brighter future!
Our Spring Term themes are READY, STEADY COOK and TEDDY BEARS
We will be looking at healthy eating, cooking delicious recipes and sharing stories such as The magic porridge pot, Supertato, and The enormous turnip. For Teddy bears we will be linking stories such as Goldilocks, Whatever next and We're going on a bear hunt to our own teddies and stories.
Our EYFS provision will develop confidence and competence in learning and using key skills. This includes counting, sorting, matching, seeking patterns, making connections, recognising relationships and working with numbers, shapes, space and measure.
Our Maths focus over Spring Term will be on careful counting out loud and of objects, and understanding different groups and how to combine them. We aim to gain a true understanding of the numbers and what they really mean, as well as develop skills to use number effectively and confidently. We will be consolidating more/ less and introducing addition and subtraction.

Things to remember ...
What you need to know about the curriculum...
The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework supports an integrated approach to early learning and care. It gives all professionals a set of common principles and commitments to deliver quality early education and childcare experiences to all children.
As well as being the core document for all professionals working in the foundation years, the EYFS framework gives parents and carers confidence that regardless of where they choose for their child’s early education, they can be assured that the same statutory commitments and principles will underpin their child’s learning and development experience.
