At Oakhill we value the importance of parents and carers and provide a welcoming, non-judgemental environment with an open-door policy. We work closely with parents and carers and provide support for them and their children, both academically and personally. When schools and parents work together there is a positive impact on children's academic success and their wellbeing.

We actively encourage parents and carers to be a part of our school community and over this academic year have a variety of opportunities for parents and carers to join us and their children in school. 

We would like to invite all parents/carers to a number of events in school, the dates of which can be found below. We will be holding our parent/carer lunches where we invite you to join your child for lunch; our parent reading breakfasts where we invite you to share breakfast and a book with your child, and, our 'Watch me Learn' sessions where we invite you to come into school to share a lesson with your child. All dates can be found below.

In addition to these we will continue to hold our Adult and Family Learning sessions.

Watch Me Learn

This year Mrs Alliband will be delivering our Watch Me Learn sessions. As Mrs Alliband teaches French across the school, she would like to invite you to come and take part in a French lesson! 

Dance Assemblies

All children in KS1 and KS1 take part in dance lessons over the year. This year, we would like to invite parents to come and watch their dance and listen to them sing.
