School will be closed to all pupils except pupils of parents who work for key services and vulnerable pupils from Friday 20th March. If any parent needs to speak to a member of the family support team please contact 07555055762. Please see the email sent out to parents below:

Dear Parents / Carers,

You may have just seen the news, where they government have just announced that all schools in England will be closed on Friday 20th March 2020 until further notice.

We will be opening school with volunteer staff, for children whose parents are key workers. As soon as we get the list of key workers from the government, we will release this to parents. We will also be offering places to vulnerable pupils. We will contact parents of vulnerable pupils.

The teachers have been preparing packs of work for pupils and they are giving them out this week. If your child is already off school then packs will be available in the office on Friday for collection if you or another family member could do this.

We will be sending via Parent Mail a list of online resources that your pupils can use. Some of these are accessible without a log-in, some are school ones which need a log-in. Your child may know their log-in, if they have forgotten, please contact your child’s teacher via DOJO between the hours of 9am and 3pm and they will provide it for you.

We will put an emergency contact number on our website and Facebook page, which parents can contact if they need urgent support that school staff could help with. The DOJO messaging system will still be checked regularly, but please bear in mind if staff are unwell, they may not be able to answer.

We are very sad to be closing the school, however we have no choice. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support over the past few weeks, which have been very difficult for everyone.

We will send more information tomorrow.

Best wishes,

Mrs J Leach
