Dates for your diary...

Every Monday - PE Day

Friday 7th April - Break up for Easter

Monday 24th April - Return to School

Things to remember ...
  • Homework is given out every Wednesday and should be back in school by the following Monday.
  • Reading is an important part of the children's development and children are required to read at home and practise their high frequency words everyday or as often as possible - do not forget to sign their reading diary too! These should also be bought into school everyday.
  • PE day is every Monday. All children are required to wear the correct uniform for PE (white or yellow tshirt, black or navy shorts/joggers, pumps)
  • Fitness Friday is every Friday - children should wear black or navy tracksuit bottoms & jacket top with a plain white or yellow t-shirt.

What you need to know about the curriculum...

The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework supports an integrated approach to early learning and care. It gives all professionals a set of common principles and commitments to deliver quality early education and childcare experiences to all children.

As well as being the core document for all professionals working in the foundation years, the EYFS framework gives parents and carers confidence that regardless of where they choose for their child’s early education, they can be assured that the same statutory commitments and principles will underpin their child’s learning and development experience.

Spring Term:

This half term Reception have loved investigating and finding out about dinosaurs!

We were so fortunate to have found a real life dinosaur egg in our outdoor area and we have had so much fun trying to find out where it has come from.
